Vajtsuas Shouayang (VTSY) is the son of Colonel Shoua Yang. When the war was over, his father and his family members departed to France. In France, VTSY is a soldier in the French military. He is also a community leader and volunteers his time to community. He has led and completed several monuments to honor the Hmong veterans during the French Indochina war. This collection was received from VTSY and provides a glimpse into the Hmong people in Xieng Khouang Province, Laos from the 1940s.
