“Gather intelligence”
———————————

I worked in several places because there were not many people and some did not know the work so I had to work several jobs. My first job, which is the priority, is gathering intelligence [from reports sent in from the battlefields]. I have to find who the North Vietnamese commander is of each troop, and their movements and locations. I have to keep track of these reports daily, monthly, and yearly. And I would assess the accuracy of the intelligence report. After that, I have to draw the maps and layout where each troop is located and where they are moving to the following week or the following month. I have to work that kind of job every day. We get our reports: first, is from the frontline; second, is from the civilians; … and, the third, is from the communications and radio operator teams.
