“Heartbreak”

I had an older brother captured by the NVA. His wife waited and waited for him. When he finally made it back home, she had just remarried. It’s a very heartbreaking story, and I felt very sorry for him. 

My uncle Lee Yeng’s T-28 aircraft crashed as the NVA troops shot him down. He did not surrender. He resisted and died. This touched me personally. It took a month to recover his body. One of my brothers said GVP ordered [large numbers of Thai soldiers] to get his body.
